Karen L. Connell, Ph.D. loves seeing lives and communities transformed through encounters with God’s Word and His Presence. She believes lasting change happens from the inside out, which causes her to tenaciously pursue individual, corporate, and community transformation, “I believe that the fullness of God’s glory is realized when individuals and communities are whole within, whole with God, and whole with others.”
Her mission statement is simply “Pour into others what God has poured into her.” Her heart is to raise up the next generation of leaders with the capacity to carry the wonder of God and the practical skills to translate that wonder to the world around them.
She currently oversees a private counseling practice and serves as a chaplain with the American Chaplain’s Association. Karen’s personal journey with her Savior Jesus Christ, through brokenness, triumphs, and healing; and over 40 years of leadership experience, make her an effective and anointed speaker in conferences, workshops, and retreats. She has written numerous Transformational Life Courses and you can find portions of her writing, “A Glimpse from Another World” featured in the Even More Blog. In addition, Karen has authored “Strength in Our Story” an interactive bible study engaging the life of Joseph. Strength in Our Story can be purchased on Amazon.
She and her husband, Rick, reside in the greater Atlanta area and enjoy playing with their Australian Shepherd, taking leisurely walks, watching funny movies together, playing games, and spending time with friends.
